I think that Tim's analysis was way out of line. When I look at the ad, I see a beautiful girl wearing perfume. It is saying that if you want to be as beautiful as her, you'll buy the perfume. The last thing in my mind was racism or rape. In today's society, people sue eachother for minor things. If the reality is that the ad shows rape, then the company would go broke and there would be endless protests. It would be suicide for a corporation to show rape or racism in an advertisement. Corporations need to sell their products but they have to be politically correct at the same time as well, otherwise everyone would start complaining.
